Frequently Asked Questions

What types of deck material do you use?

All of our decks are built with pressure treated lumber. The actual decking is mostly composite decking (Fiberon mostly), or pressure treated lumber. Our railings are either aluminum (spindle or glass), or pressure treated. Our privacy screens are either pressure treated or Hideaway metal screens.

Do you do deck railings, if so what types?

Yes, we do deck railings, we install aluminum deck railings, privacy railings/screens, and pressure treated.

Can I add a pergola to my deck?

Yes, you can! We can help design your pergola or you can tell us what you want and we will make that happen.

What is the timeline for a deck to be completed?

When a customer reaches out it usually takes 1-3 days to get a quote. Once the customer agrees to the quote, it can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Each deck is different, but the planning is based around service location, permits, site access and scheduling.

How far in advance should I book my deck?

Typically Deck Daddy is booked for 3-6 weeks out, so depending on your timeline and preference, please make sure you plan accordingly.

Do you do repairs on an existing deck?

You bet we do! Deck Daddy can do rebuilds, new decks, and repairs.

Do you have warranty?

Deck Daddy has manufacture warranty, and 2 year labor warranty.

Can my deck be moved or taken a part?

It is possible to move a deck, but this will require a site assessment as every deck and yard is different.

Yes, we can take your deck apart, mostly this comes in the form of demolition when we are rebuilding your deck. We handle demolition and disposal before rebuilding the deck itself.

Do you offer deck designs or does the client design their own?

When a client reaches out to have a deck built, we prefer a minimum amount of information to help get the process started. This usually comes in the form of some kind of sketch of the dimensions, site photos, decking type, railing type or stair type.

If you’re unsure what type of deck or design you want, please reach out to Deck Daddy and we can help assist in getting preliminary information and a plan!
